On 9th of May we gave prizes to the students for the best essay, slogan, poster and craft about Road Safety. Attached please fiind some photos about the event.  Prizes were given by the school, Transpot Malta and ITS Malta and the special guests were Alex Borg from ITS Malta, Pierre Vella consultant at Transport Malta and Ms Charmaine Craus from Transport Malta.

We were invited by the television programme, Skjetti to talk about road safety. This programme is about issues of public concern in Malta and some students and I as teacher in charge, talked about their participation for the European Road Safety Charter Challenge this scholastic year. We talked about what can be done to prevent accidents on the road. The programme Skjetti is very popular in Malta and many people watch it so our participation helped to increase awareness about the topic at hand.

Our aim as a school is to bring children aware of dangers on the road. To stay safe as a pedestrian and also as passengers in a car with an adults. We planned fun and informative activities for children of ages 3-11 years.

Wearing a helmet is a must. Make it a family rule, if there is no helmet then there is no bike (scooter or skateboard).
