IAM (Irish Advanced Motorists) / IAM Fleet

SIMI - The Society of the Irish Motor Industry

The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) is the National Association for the Motor Industry in Ireland. Its 2,000 members are involved in every sector of the industry and comprise: vehicle manufacturers, franchise & independent garages, body repair, fast fit and other specialists, parts and equipment suppliers, petrol and oil companies and petrol retailers. Member companies employ in excess of 50,000 people.

Irish Motoring is a Drogheda-based company that was set up in March 2004. It provides material and information for learner drivers. The website represents over two years of research and development in every area of driver training and education.

Road Safety Authority (RSA)

 The Irish Road Safety Authority (RSA) employs 309 people. Its headquarters are in Ballina, Co Mayo with an office in Loughrea, Co Galway. The aim of the Road Safety Authority is to save lives and prevent injuries by reducing the number and severity of collisions on the road. Our objectives are to provide a safe environment for all road users and promote the efficient use of our road network. The RSA works to improve road safety in Ireland.
