Road safety coaching for municipalities across the Flemish region

On January 30th, the Charter team organized a seminar in Leuven, Belgium. The seminar took place at the ‘Provinciehuis’, and was hosted in close collaboration with OVK-SAVE.

During the day, participants took part in 2 workshops. They could choose freely from a selection of workshops, depending on their own interests. PowerPoint presentations for all workshops can be found below. Aside from the workshops, the seminar also featured presentations on both OVK-SAVE and the European Road Safety Charter, a panel discussion and a networking lunch.

MyLAC project - jointly conducted by the Vias Institute and FEVR was to gain a better understanding of the range of consequences of road crashes for injured #RoadVictims. Our results showed that about half of the victims that were not considered at fault did not go to court and that a similar proportion of them did not receive any compensation for neither injuries nor for pain and suffering.
