Celebrating progress towards Vision Zero

With over 4000 members—including companies, associations, local authorities, universities, schools and individuals—the European Road Safety Charter is the largest civil society platform dedicated to road safety. Charter members help strengthen road safety culture through their initiatives, reduce accidents, and develop preventative solutions.

The Excellence in Road Safety Awards celebrate the collective impact and progress toward Europe’s Vision Zero: halving road deaths and serious injuries by 2030 and eliminating them entirely by 2050. With 100 applications received this year, the 2025 winners represent the diversity, creativity, and commitment of the Charter’s community.
