Roadpol Safety Days, the annual campaign of the European Roads Policing Network, implemented every year between September 16th and September 22nd, comes back in 2025 with emphasis on two-wheeler vehicles.
On this occasion, Industrie Mica Prahova SA and Drumul in siguranta weblog decided to run again “The Week With No Traffic Events”, an online event celebrating its third edition this year. This year, the event gives special attention to all two-wheelers – be they bicycles, motorcycles, e-scooters, mopeds or scooters. These users continue to be amongst the most vulnerable on the road. This campaign aims to increase awareness as concerns both the responsibilities of those who use these means of transport, but also of the car or truck drivers, as well as other users who share the road with them.
At the same time, the event wishes to bring to the attention of the municipality the needs of two-wheelers, in the context of the need to update the General Urbanistic Plan of the city of Ploiesti, a strategic document updating the main lines of urban development for the next 20 years, which has been recently been submitted for public consultation.
