What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?

The goal of our work is to promote proper behaviour in traffic to the public through concrete help and advice forums and to take the proper steps, ensuring that in case of accident the compensation is paid by insurance companies.
Apart from the basic responsibilities we fulfil in our everyday work, we would like to accomplish the following as part of our commitment for the European Road Safety Charter:

In our online database for the social sector, WER HILFT WEM (WHO HELPS WHO), we will publish detailed information and links to more than 1,500 authorities, associations and organisations helping victims of accidents.

We will also publish the following brochures:

The accident brochure provides a step-by-step description on how to behave after the accident. This brochure contains all important telephone numbers. It can be requested free of charge and is also available at pharmacies and workshops. It is also distributed to the public by our assistants. We are planning to print around 70.000 brochures a year.

At various events held by the fire department, THW (Federal Agency for Technical Relief), police, and schools, we will present photos of vehicles destroyed in accidents and tips for road safety) in order to raise awareness among the public.

On our main Internet portal we will give accident victims the opportunity to offer, acquire or exchange rehabilitation resources with help of our Personal Support Exchange. The Personal Support Exchange is a commercial area from "private" to "private" and is free of charge.

Commitment duration: 3 years.
