What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?

Road Safety Expo organises an annual event which was set up in 2007, now running in its third year will sign the European Road Safety Charter with a commitment to adhere to the following:
OUR COMMITMENT TO ROAD SAFETY
Road Safety Expo will ensure that prior to our events we issue a statement for safe and (environmental) travel. This can be issued in our communication with attending delegates regarding the venue/event times etc. We will also ensure that our Event Programme contains a message for safe and responsible journeys home for all delegates, reaffirming our commitment to the European Road Safety Charter.

ON-GOING LIVE WEBSITE ACCESS
The Road Safety Expo provides a year-round live website exclusively for all attending delegates to access conference presentations and speaker information. Delegates comprise of road safety professionals throughout the UK who need to know the latest information and understanding of the latest technologies enabling them to effectively implement change in an effort to reduce road casualties and accidents.

COMMUNITIY BUILDING WITHIN THE ROAD SAFETY COMMUNITY
The Road Safety Expo will act as a conduit/hub for road safety professionals in the UK and Europe wishing to contact and build networks with our experts or to communicate directly with our speakers on particular topics and presentations that we have covered. We are committed to ensuring knowledge-sharing and education within the community; this, together with our events, helps to bridge gaps, strengthens and builds a community of road safety professionals in Europe.

OUR EXPANSION INTO EUROPE
Road Safety Expo is evolving in 2009, being far more inclusive for the European road safety community and this will be reflected in the event structure and conference programme.

Ensuring that Road Safety Expo continues to work closely with its supporting and association partner organisations, currently ROADSAFE, AIRSO (Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers), IRSO (Institute of Road Safety Officers) and the IHIE (Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers) and other relevant organisations partnerships for the education and development of road safety.
Together with Road Safety Expo's supporting and association partner organisations we share a common commitment to the reduction of road casualties.

Road Safety Expo is an ongoing commitment and will be for at least the next three years and beyond.
