Modified Motors

What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?

Over the next three years, Modified Motors will actively support and promote road safety messages to our readers and our website users who are, in the main, male and between fifteen and thirty years of age, a demographic that is over-represented in road incidents.
We publish twelve issues of Modified Motors magazine each year with a circulation in excess of 25,000 copies per issue.
We will incorporate an ongoing safety awareness campaign in Modified Motors magazine to communicate road safety messages focusing on: wearing seatbelts, drink driving and speeding. We will updating the public with consistent messages in particular coming into holiday weekends or when there are large events or festivals on.

We will include a road safety section on our website with as much information and as often as possible inline with the information published in the magazines.
We will attend events organised by our media partners Prodrift IRL series and Mondello Park Time attack series which will attract in excess of 50,000 people annually. We will focus on communicating road safety messages regarding wearing seatbelts, drink driving and speeding. We will also attend a variety of other car related events which attract in excess of 250,000 people annually.
Our Modified Motors Live events are hosted around Ireland, each of which will include cooperation by the police or safety-conscious third-party organisations. Educational points to be provided by the police include information leaflets, signage, videos and promotional items.
