MASS will provide young driver training in sixth forms and colleges, emphasising better road safety and the consequences of crashes, aiming for this ultimately to become part of the national curriculum. Over 50 MASS Solicitors from different MASS firms will receive training for this task and they will visit schools to undertake this action.
MASS will prepare training packs to be distributed in schools. The training packs include notes, statistics, information and a 16-minute long road safety DVD.
MASS plans to provide the training to as many schools as possible to be able to reach up to thousands of students. The action will take place from October 2005 to October 2006, and hopefully MASS will be able to continue the young driver training in 2007 and 2008.
