What are you doing/aiming to do for road safety?
Aware of the real danger and of the fact that everybody is potentially at risk when it comes to road traffic, we undertake to contribute to the prevention of accidents through an awareness campaign that focuses on the correct use of motorcycles and a greater sense of driver responsibility.
In order to reach this objective:
We will immediately create a special section on our website (which receives about 6,000 visitors per month) and publish a permanent column in the monthly magazine ENGINE (which has a circulation of over 3,000 per month). Paper-based and electronic guides for proper motorcycle maintenance so as to prevent road accidents (chain and tyre adjustment, etc.) will be published jointly with the traffic control authority.
We will create a section devoted to safety and accident prevention (raising awareness, also using audiovisual aids, about the dangers of driving without a helmet) in our discussion forum, in which we will gather testimonies, advice and expert opinions).
Regular updates on types of protective clothing available on the market, in order to ensure greater protection in the event of an accident.
Creation of a safety and prevention team. Together with the Carabinieri (military police force), we will form a team that will follow groups of motorcyclists to various motorcycle events and teach them about appropriate road behaviour.
