Democratic Party Youth (NEDIK) is committing to the European Road Safety Charter with the following action plan:
We will organise road safety training for our members, inviting road safety experts.
Those trainings will aim to improve the behaviour of young people while driving and raise their awareness about the risks associated with drinking and driving.
To support this we will produce and publish leaflets, magazines, posters etc.
Our General Secretariat and the regional committees, 75 people, will be involved internally with the organisation and implementation.
It is anticipated that we reach a large number of our members who´s age ranges from
12 – 34.
We need to act upon road safety issues to ensure that young people will drive and act more careful and safer. The problems are the alcohol, behaviour of young people and the safety of the road and the vehicles.
We know lot of things about the behaviour of young people, alcohol and any other problem regarding young people as we have daily contact with young people and our members are young people. About road and vehicles safety we dont know lot of things but we will ask help from specialists .
