A milestone event held on the occasion of the 20th year anniversary of Road Safety Institute (RSI) Panos Mylonas commencing along the 8th UN Global Road Safety Week.
We were empowered and hopeful by the presence and announcements of the Government, the stakeholders engagement and support, the media presence and coverage and the distinguished personalities who traveled to Athens in honour of our anniversary.
During the event that took place at the prestigious Zappeion Megaron, an Exhibition Hall was also set demonstrating the RSI programs and experiential equipment with simulators and the Mobile Unit devices. Focus was also given to school programs. Primary and high school students visiting the exhibition have given us joy and hope through their interest and enthusiasm. Walking and Cycling programs were demonstrated as promoted by the 8th UN Global Road Safety Week while huge billboards in the city info centers and bus stops demonstrated our Road Safety messages thanks to Politis Group.
A big Thank You to the Government represented by the Vice Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, to the President of the Hellenic Parliament, to the Attica Governor Nikolaos Chardalias, to our distinguished guests present representing the FIA – Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, European Transport Safety Council (ETSC), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe-Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety, the World Human Forum and to all those personalities that inspired and empowered us.

Thankful also to the RSI team, the researchers and volunteers that have given their soul to make the event memorable to all those present.
