What role can healthcare play in road safety and road sobriety work? In the examination of suitability to hold a driver's license, the healthcare system is a key player. Traffic accidents due to acute or chronic illness in traffic are an underestimated traffic safety problem. The important measures against drunk driving by the police and the judiciary also need to be supplemented with measures in healthcare, as drunk driving is often due to an addictive disease. Suicide in society and in the transport system is a public health problem. What does the incidence look like and how can we work with suicide prevention?
