The meeting of the Polish Signatories of the European Charter for Road Traffic Safety
Warsaw, June 11, 2019
On behalf of the Motor Transport Institute and the Charter Team we would like to cordially invite you to join the meeting of the Polish signatories of the European Road Safety Charter. The meeting starts on June 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Headquarters of  the Motor Transport Institute (Warsaw, 80 Jagiellonska St.).
For years, Poland has been making efforts to reduce the risk of road traffic. They managed to reduce the number of fatalities in road accidents by 26,7% in 2010-2018, but these results are far from the objectives they adopted. Therefore, finding a new model of action in road safety in our country is a vital need for us. The Motor Transport Institute is convinced that stronger involvement of various institutions and NGOs in the implementation of the EU and national road safety program could create the basis for more effective implementation of further preventive solutions. Among the most forgotten groups in Poland are the signatories of the European Road Safety Charter.
During this meeting the first period of the European Charrter in Poland will be summarized.
