We present a new edition of the Galician Congress for Road Safety and Education. A forum involving mobility, road culture and public spaces in which relevant personalities with a lot to say about the matter will participate. Naron will become a focal point again for the policies designed to achieve the very desired Cero Vision in road safety.
To define the focal point of this third congress we have selected the motto “People first”. It’s a sentence that defines itself in a simple yet firm way. It’s the philosophy that should imbue our flags as people worried about preservation, not only human preservation when related to mobility but also the quality of living in our regions, towns, countryside and cities.
It will once again become a point of reference and reunion regarding the road safety, education and human mobility sector with the aim of establishing criteria as well as undergoing work training in regards to social awareness promoting an integral visión of mobility in public spaces.
During this edition national and international leaders, institutions and companies from different points of our country and different areas of mobility and education will unite and analise and debate strategic aspects by exchanging experiences, knowledge and good practices to contribute to the future of mobility from a sustainable perspective. These could be the objective for learning and implementing this knowledge. This third edition
will be celebrated on the 19th and 20th of May at the Naron Town Hall, specifically at the Pazo de la Cultura, and it will revolve around four central points:
- A new model of public spaces
- Personal mobility vehicles and road safety
- New educational methods for improved mobility
- International Cooperation
After two bianual congress editions that started in the year 2016, and bearing in mind the situation during the Covid 19 pandemic, the congress that should have been celebrated in the year 2020 was postponed until 2022. The Road Safety and the Walking City Network teams of Naron that have the honour of joining the organisation of the event have placed their trust, hard work and hope in ensuring that this event will be of maximum interest for everyone involved so that all those interested can make the most of the experience.
